1977 Cessna 172 N 180hp Conversion

This Cessna 172 features an Air Plains 180 hp conversion with only 274 hours on a factory new Lycoming O-360 engine. The Sensenich prop also has 274 hours since new. The airplane flies regularly and has been owned and hangared by the same owner since 1988.

Updates include an Aero Enhancement instrument panel with individual blue instrument lighting and 9 volt battery backup. The Aerotrim electric rudder trim is useful for extended climbs to altitude. The Apollo GX 55R GPS has a separate data card allowing for easy database updates.

The aircraft was originally owned by Amoco Petroleum and was used for high altitude patrol work. The logs are complete, and the aircraft has no damage or training history. This is a dry country, midwest Cessna showing no significant airframe corrosion.

The Imron paint was applied in 1989 and is in very good condition. The interior is original in good condition, showing no rips or tears.
